Bilal Sabour wants to learn, experiment, know and in this moment from his young life he has chosen IMESA and this makes us very proud.
Bilal trained at the Leonardo da Vinci Institute of Higher Education in Portogruaro where in the first 3 years he attended the industrial and civil technical equipment, systems and services section. However, the three-year period does not satisfy him and the job prospects do not reflect his dreams, so he decides to continue his studies and conclude the five-year course with a specialization in maintenance of means of transport followed by internships in a garage.

“During the internship I worked on cars and motorbikes, taking care of servicing and changing tyres. This experience brought me closer to the world of work, it was very instructive. Working in the field for the field of study I have chosen is fundamental and highly educational because practice qualifies us and allows us to translate what we study every day into actions.”

How did you choose to continue after graduation?

“I chose to continue my studies by enrolling in the ITS ACADEMY and following the Higher Technician course for Automation and Mechatronic Systems . Mechatronics mixes mechanics, IT and electronics, it is a constantly growing branch of study which is developing from the automotive sector into numerous sectors such as the aeronautical-space branch, manufacturing and robotics. In the world of work, the balance between mechanics and electronics is increasingly shifting towards the latter. A technician specialized in mechatronics has the right knowledge and skills in both mechanics and electronics and this is a condition that can open the doors to many job opportunities for me.”

How did you come to IMESA?

“The ITS Academy creates the conditions for our collaboration with companies in the sector and among the various possible companies I chose IMESA. I immediately liked the training offer offered to me by IMESA and so here I am, 2 days a week until June 2025.”

Can you tell us briefly what you do at IMESA?

“I am currently working in the electrical panel department. My task is to create operating instructions for assembly and assembly of the components, as clear as possible. The electrical panel department is the one in which the variables, and consequently the problems, are greatest and the variables must be managed methodically. It is a task that requires knowledge and logic, the objective of which is to create a sequence of actions that streamline the assembly operations, but above all that allow you to avoid making mistakes.”

What would you like to do when you grow up?

“Today I’m telling you that I would like to attend University, a choice I didn’t make after graduating, and attend the faculty of Mechanical or Management Engineering. The academic study I am doing guarantees me training credits which could definitely help me in my university career.”

IMESA is very sensitive to the training of young people; There are many activities that we promote inside and outside our walls. In recent days we have released the “Project Management” training course held by our designer engineer Sandro Gerotto within the 8th edition of the Mechatronic Talent Olympics, hosted by IMESA and promoted by Confindustria Veneto Est. Our objective is let the talents of tomorrow shine, offering them the tools and knowledge to excel in the professional field.

Bilal is one of our boys and, why not, maybe one of us in the future.
We wish Bilal luck and success, whatever career path he chooses.
